Production files documenting William Shakespeare's Hamlet, staged in 1992 at Roundabout Theatre's Criterion Center, Stage Right, in its first season on Broadway (1991/1992). The production, directed by Paul Weidner, starred Stephen Lang as Hamlet with Elizabeth McGovern as Ophelia, Kathleen Widdoes as Gertrude, and Michael Cristofer as Claudius, and included costumes by Martin Pakledinaz, sets by Christopher H. Barreca, lighting by Natasha Katz and sound by Douglas J. Cuomo.

Opening night celebrations were held on April 2, 1992 with a reception in the theatre immediately following the 8:00 PM performance.

Written between 1599 and 1602, Hamlet portrays the story of Prince Hamlet who seeks revenge on his uncle Cladius after learning that Claudius killed his brother, Hamlet's father, and married Hamlet's mother. The play focuses on themes of insanity, incest, and moral corruption, and is considered one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies.
Hamlet 1992 production files include 8 production folders, 1 playbill, 1 marketing flyer, and 2 black and white prints of the cast. Collection lacks prompt script and all documents detailing artistic vision for the play (director's notes, costume, set, lighting, sound design).
