Roundabout's 1993 production of Candida was directed by Gloria Muzio and starred Mary Steenburgen as Candida, Robert Foxworth as Reverend James Mavor Morell, Robert Sean Leonard as Eugene Marchbanks, Ann Dowd as Miss Proserpine Garnett, Simon Brooking as Reverend Alexander Mill, and William Duff-Griffin as Mr. Burgess. Set design by David Jenkins, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, and sound design by Douglas J. Cuomo.

The production ran for 45 performances, with a running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, including 2 intermissions. Ticket prices ranged from $38-$42.
 
Candida, George Bernard Shaw's 1894 comedy about a woman who must choose between a sensible and a dynamic suitor, ultimately exposing Victorian ideas of love and marriage, was produced by Roundabout Theatre Company and staged at the Criterion Center Stage Right at 1530 Broadway in New York City.
