Rogers by Ted Sod for the Education department, conducted over the phone in 2007.  Interview features Rogers discussing his inspiration for writing The Overwhelming, conducting research and visiting Rwanda, speaking with survivors, the decision for using an American family to tell the story, the influence of espionage and thriller elements, challenges of not speaking French and never been to Rwanda at the time of writing, writing influences, the play's openness to audience interpretation/reaction, Rwanda absence in the public consciousness, and not answering questions posed.
