Interview with director Amon Miyamoto by Ted Sod for the Education department, conducted in 2004 with the aid of translator Mariko Kojima. Interview features Miyamoto discussing changes in the last scene of each production, stylized way of life in the show, incorporating a different type of acting in the show, the historical accuracy and inaccuracies of the show, materialistic aspects of society, directing other American shows in Japan, working with an American cast, Asian-American actors from different cultures in the cast, his training and background, and reactions of students who saw the show in Japan.
