Biography
Writes mainly for the stage, creating integrated music/sound scores embracing instrumental music, electronic music, sound design and song. His musical London Road (NT) won the 2011 Critic’s Circle Award ‘Best Musical’. A film version was released in 2015. Other scores and sound designs include: King Lear (Donmar, Olivier Award 2011); Anna Christie (Evening Standard Award 2011); Red (Donmar/Broadway, Tony Award 2010); Enron (Tony nominations 2010 Best Score, Best Sound); Macbeth (Tony nomination 2008); Frost/Nixon (Broadway 2007).
