Biography
Made his professional debut under Sir John Gielgud's direction in Hamlet with Richard Burton. He appeared on Broadway in Crown Matrimonial; the national tours of Liliom (directed by Eva LeGalliene) and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. In Shakespearean rep he has played Romeo, Mercutio, Orlando, Cassio, Antonio, and the 2nd Witch; supporting roles in All My Sons and The Late Christopher Bean. Off Broadway he played Felix Mendelssohn in Beyond Desire and he appears in the MGM film Soylent Green. A graduate of Northwestern University, he studied mime at the school of Marcel Marceau and lived in Manhattan Plaza.
